Emerging leader in Health

Awarded to an emerging leader in the not-for-profit sector who can best demonstrate growth, disruption and inclusivity in her field since July 2021. This award includes health research.

Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year

Awarded to a woman with at least a 40% share in a business that either started since July 2021 or has successfully pivoted during the full 2021 year, in response to COVID-19 or other emergencies

Emerging Leader on Climate Action

Awarded to a woman who is driving significant action – through research, activism, engagement or some other means – on climate change, helping to position Australia and the world for the critical decade ahead.

Emerging Leader in the Private Sector

Awarded to an emerging leader in the public & university sector who can best demonstrate growth, disruption and inclusivity in her field since July 2021. This award covers professional services, as well as banking & finance.

Agenda Setter of the Year

Awarded to a woman who has set a key new agenda in 2022: leading to better outcomes for others and driving change on a significant issue.

Hall of Fame

This entrant is awarded to an inspiring female leader who has led on creating smarter and more inclusive organisations and a better planet for decades. A Women’s Agenda panel will choose the recipient of this special award.

Small Business Leader of the Year

Awarded to an emerging or established leader running a small business in Australia (less than 100 people), who can best demonstrate growth, resilience and inclusivity in her field since January 2021. This award is for founders, CEOs as well emerging and established leaders of such businesses, and calls on applicants to highlight how their leadership has contributed to the resilience of the business, the industry and the people within the organisation.

Five Heroes at the Frontline

Recognising five female heroes who led on the frontline during the pandemic, floods and bushfires crisis. These ‘Heroes’ do not participate in the virtual judging process but will be selected by the Women’s Agenda team based on nominations, and  acknowledged during the awards ceremony through a special video package. They will all be profiled on Women’s Agenda.
